League Season 1

Overview: Beginners are welcome to participate in this reasonably competitive but friendly league. If you're still getting familiar with the game, there will be plenty of players who can help you learn the ropes.

Registration: Registration is free, but Tabletop Simulator (TTS) is required (normally $20, but on sale for $10 through Jan 5, 2023). If you would like to play but need financial support to buy TTS, please contact @Ira on discord. (We are not affiliated with TTS in any way; it's just a good way to play Sorcery right now.)

The first wave of registrations will be processed on January 4, 2023. After that, players may still register, and will be added to the league at the league organizer's convenience. Feel free to message @Ira on Discord to register late.

Prizes: Erik's Curiosa has generously donated prizes to this league, so we will be able to send prizes to the winners, as well as randomly drawn participation prizes, chosen among everyone who completes all 8 of their regulation games (even if you lose all 8)! Thank you very much to anyone who additionally donates to help support the league. Please see the league rules for the list of current prizes and sponsors.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Do I need to use TTS?
A: Yes. There is a little learning curve to get used to TTS, but once you do, you'll find that you can play Sorcery very easily. Ask for help from any @Mentor in Discord, and the rules document lists some helpful keyboard shortcuts.

Q: What if my question isn't answered here?
A: Ask @Ira on the Sorcery League Discord server.
