Puzzle 5 Description Three engravings on the end of the large beam that's adjacent to the stairs between the 1st and 2nd floors near the admissions area. Difficulty: Hard Design Inspiration When I walked on these steps, I saw this amazing beam of wood, coming right up to the steps. You can see how it's constructed, and how sturdy it is. It called out to me for a puzzle. It might be easy to miss in the hustle and bustle of going up and down steps, but a puzzle here encourages vistors to stop for a moment and notice the wonderful components of the building. Also, I wanted a science-themed puzzle to go along with the other puzzles involving math, poetry, and visual art.
